As head of Global Quality, I am responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations while complying with global and regional aviation regulations. This involves implementing quality assurance plans across all of Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) and maintaining robust audit and corrective action programs for our certifications and proactively implementing preventive solutions to reduce and eliminate defects.
My job is an exciting role that seeps heavily into each and every function. Not only do I get to play a role in making our existing offerings better, I collaborate with teams on the frontline as we bring new and innovative solutions to market with proactive and progressive quality framework.
I enjoy supporting organic ideas and helping bring them to fruition. I believe innovation and leveraging advances in technology to ensure customer experience is really what will drive our business into the future. Another area that drives me daily is the need to listen to our customers and gain insights into their end user customers. When we make our customers successful we also will be successful.

When it comes to my leadership career wins, I am most proud of forging into new markets and new spaces. For example, growing the optical business and winning a key breaking contract at Nortel and driving distributed core solutions at Motorola. In both instances, we were in a new industry spaces that were changing the traditional way of telecommunication’s circuit switch limitations and marching toward broadband and cloud.
My college career path started at Duke University where I received my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and I later completed my master’s degree from Fuqua School of Business at Duke. I’m proud to hold a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, which means that I am an experienced Six Sigma expert practitioner, and highly skilled in creating and managing portfolios of improvement projects for businesses and leading enterprise-wide programs.
When I’m not leading the charge in Global Quality, I am happily married with two grown children. For those college basketball fans, I am one of the original “Cameron Crazies.” I am proud to brag that I’ve never missed a Duke basketball game in college. In my spare time, I enjoy mentoring teens as they plan their education future and grow into young adults.
